About Us
Hi, I’m Lisa, an embroidery artist and the maker behind DoItHands.
DoItHands was founded in Australia and grew from a deeply personal relationship I have with embroidery. For me, embroidery is more than a craft — it is a quiet space of my own. Through the slow rhythm of stitching, I began to feel my creativity and imagination come alive, and in those moments of making, I found confidence, calm, and inner strength.
This experience made me realise that if embroidery could offer me such meaning, it could also gently support other women in their busy lives — giving them a creative, intentional way to spend time alone.
That is why I created DoItHands embroidery kits. Each kit is thoughtfully designed to be beginner-friendly, so anyone can start with ease and confidence. My hope is that through making, you may discover your own creativity, your skillful hands, and the quiet strength that comes from creating something by yourself.
DoItHands is not just about embroidery kits.
It is a sharing of what embroidery has given me creativity, confidence, and a sense of inner strength and an invitation for you to experience that for yourself.
Creating is a gentle way to discover yourself.
